James: Impartial Faith
James 2:1-13
From Series: "James: Practical Christianity"
Living the Christian life involves more than talking a good game. It involves the reorientation of your whole life in submission to God. Faith impacts how we handle su ering, how we speak to one another, how we relate to poverty and wealth, and how we respond to injustice. Nowhere is this clearer than in the epistle of James. Writing to Christians scattered throughout the ancient Mediterranean world who were facing intense pressures, James gets intensely practical. Filled with clear and direct exhortations as well as memorable images and metaphors, James shows us that genuine faith is a “busy, little thing”. Join us as we explore practical Christianity through the epistle of James!
